I think that Songs of Solomon was put in the bible just for me, and girls like me.
To remind us how God loves us.
How much we are worth!
"All beautiful you are, my darling; there is NO FLAW in you!"
- Songs of Solomon 4:7
"You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; YOU have stolen my heart"
- Songs of Solomon 4:9
I have stolen the heart of a KING!
Not just any king.
The King of kings!
His Love is stronger then death!
His Love is as jealous as the grave!
His Love can not be washed way!
The book "Songs of Solomon" is a collection of poems, telling how a man and his bride feel about each other. The church is referred to as the bride of Christ. Therefore, We can assume the Christ is indeed the "man" in this collection of poems and that we (the Church; His people) are the "bride."

Hello~
I stumbled upon your blog, and am so glad I did. I too, love the book of Love, or the Songs of Songs as some call it! I have a Song of Songs story: I used to not wear sandals that showed my toes because my cousin laughed at my pinkie toe years ago. One day, the Word jumped off the page to me: Song of Songs 7:1 "How lovely are your feet in sandals, O prince's daughter." Needless to say, I have been walking out my freedom ever since! I now have a collection of sandals that show my lovely feet! The latest were a pair of lime green italian made wedges!
Nice to meet you,
Tamarah
